Soccer Shoes -A Newbie Guide Before Buying Them

When buying a shoe don't just go for the colour or style check whether they are comfortable enough. While playing one has to deliver performance and wearing a wrong shoe will not allow to give a player its best performance .Wearing right shoes not only help you in playing but it also protects from injuries.

Soccer shoes are normally made of pure leather or synthetic leather. Pure leather shoes are normally, long-lasting, durable and provide better fit and that is why it's expensive as compared to synthetic leather shoes.

Soccer shoes are usually designed with cleats on the bottom for different playing ground. Cleats are categorised in three parts FG (Firm Ground), SG (Soft Ground), HG (hard Ground).FG (Firm Ground) style of cleats are on the edges of the shoe and some are in t he middle to provide a support system for foot .They are normally worn and are used in mostly all grounds.SG (Soft Ground) has least amount of cleats in the bottom and is minimum in the middle for foot support, the cleats of SG is detachable. These types of shoes are normally worn in muddy and rainy ground .HG (Hard Ground) has shotter cleats and gives the best foot support, they are normally called Turf shoes.

One should remember certain points while buying a soccer shoe they are:


1) One should keep in mind that if he is buying only a single pair of soccer shoes then one must go with FG style of soccer cleats.
2) While selecting a shoe check that cleat should have firm fit with less than a fingers width of space between the toes and the tip of the shoes.
3) While trying on your new shoes, always wear socks and shin guards that you will be playing in.
4) If one wears an ankle brace to protect the ankle from injuries, so while trying out for a new shoe, wear it and try.
5) Shin guards should also be carried and worn to check the fit of the shoe.
6) Avoid purchasing larger soccer cleats thinking that they will last longer.
7) Lace your shoes as tight as you would do in the field and walk in the store for few minutes, this will help you to judge whether they are comfortable or not.
