Soccer is the most loved, played and watched game in this modern era. Soccer/ football is played all over the world. In early times, the Ancients Greek, Chinese, Persians, Japanese use to play a game with ball.
But it was England which was remarked as the inventor of football/soccer game. The England became the founder of the first Football Association. In the year 1863 new rules for Football were developed. As the parts being played earlier like shin kicking, tripping, carrying the ball was not allowed and was removed by the Association so it became the cause of football and rugby split.
Within the periods of 8 years the Football Association has 50 members club soccer. The Football Association Cup was introduced in the respective year.
The League championship was founded after a gap of 17 years. The first international match was played in the year 1872. Practice of Professionalism started in soccer players. In the year 1879 the Football Association legalised professionalism in the year 1885.
